Dating from the Edwardian period, this silver cream jug is richly embossed with floral, foliate & scroll decoration, giving the surface plenty of detail while leaving a vacant cartouche as a contrasting focal point. Its compact proportions make it an attractive example of decorative table silver from the beginning of the 20th century.
Hallmarked Birmingham 1901.
